The Basic Prosecution Office in Peja announces that it has requested from the Basic Court in Peja to impose a detention order against the defendant AK, due to the well-founded suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense: "Aggravated Theft".
According to the prosecution, there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendant AK, with the aim of illegally obtaining material benefit for herself, between November 29, 2025 and January 26, 2026, on "Ndue Pёrlleshi" street in Peja, in a residential house, having the key to the owner's safe, is suspected of having stolen the amount of money of 176 thousand 900 US dollars and 3750 euros and then leaving the house without being noticed by anyone.
Therefore, according to the prosecution, with these actions, the same person would have committed the criminal offense: "Aggravated Theft" and from April 21, 2026, he is in detention for a period of 48 hours.
