The Democratic Party of Kosovo announces that it held its regular Presidency meeting today, where current political developments in the country were discussed, with a special focus on preparations for the June 7 General Elections.
At this meeting, "President Hamza also expressed gratitude for the current MP, Ferat Shala, who has decided to no longer be part of the electoral race, highly appreciating his many years of contribution to PDK and the country's institutions. Mr. Shala will continue to give his contribution as part of the leadership structures and as a member of the PDK Presidency," the announcement states.
This meeting also discussed the full mobilization of all party structures for the registration of PDK voters and supporters in exile, the announcement continues.
"Also, the Presidency unanimously decided that former leader Memli Krasniqi will lead the election headquarters and campaign of the Democratic Party of Kosovo," the announcement continues.
