Acting Minister of the Kurti Government, Fikrim Damka, spoke to the media today after the Prosecution filed an indictment against him. Damka said that he has not yet read the indictment and cannot comment on it, Express writes.
He has said that when summoned by the Court, he will appear with great willingness.
"First of all, as an acting minister, I have not received any invitation from any court in Kosovo. I cannot comment because I have not yet read the indictment. When it is read, when I am summoned, I will voluntarily appear in court," Damka said.
He expressed his belief that there was no violation or misuse.
"I am convinced that there was no violation, no misuse, not a single cent of the Republic of Kosovo," Damka said.
The Special Prosecution Office on Friday filed an indictment against the acting Minister of Regional Development, Fikrim Damka, and the acting secretary of this ministry, Besim Kamberaj, for the criminal offense of "Abuse of official position or authority." /Express/
