Media lawyer Flutura Kusari has raised the alarm on T7's "Pressing" about the way the Vetëvendosje Movement is trying to take over Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) and the Independent Media Commission (IMC), through the board appointment process.
She said that if the effort proves successful, then there will no longer be media pluralism in Kosovo.
"The attempt to absolutely control the media, I believe that this is intentional on the part of LVV, which completely takes over RTK so that we can see in the news how good Vetëvendosje and the prime minister are and everything that the opposition and civil society do is wrong."
"Also in the IMC, which is the most important institution regarding the media, which opens and closes a media outlet, then the final result is that we no longer have media pluralism, which is one of the foundations of our society," she said. /Gazeta Express
