The Basic Prosecution Office in Peja has announced that in 16 months it has filed 139 indictments against 142 people for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Construction".
Whereas, according to the official announcement, for the period January-April 2026, following investigative actions by this institution, 27 indictments were filed against 29 persons for the aforementioned criminal offense.
"The Basic Prosecution Office in Peja remains committed to combating all criminal offenses, with special emphasis on unauthorized construction, by taking concrete investigative and legal actions against any person who acts contrary to the law, with the aim of protecting the legal order and public interest," the announcement states.
