The Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Isufaj, the General Director of the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Sami Istrefi, and the special prosecutor, Naim Abazi, at the invitation of the institutions of the United States of America, begin their official visit to Washington, where they will participate in official activities and hold important meetings.
During their stay in the US, they will participate in ceremonies organized on the occasion of the National Prayer Breakfast, a traditional event of an institutional and international nature, which brings together senior representatives of state institutions from various countries.
Within the framework of this official visit, representatives of the prosecutorial system of the Republic of Kosovo will hold meetings with senior American officials, where opportunities for advancing professional cooperation and creating interstate partnerships are expected to be discussed, in order to increase efficiency in the exercise of relevant duties and competencies, as well as strengthening the rule of law in the Republic of Kosovo.
