A tense situation between Kosovo Police officials and illegal vendors has occurred in the areas surrounding the vehicle market in Pristina, as vendors attempt to block the road in protest that they are not allowed to sell anything other than vehicle parts at the market.
The Municipality of Pristina, namely the Capital City Inspectorate, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police and KVFA inspectors, since 05:00 are conducting a joint action on the ground, at the location of the vehicle market and in the surrounding areas.
The reason for this action is to prevent public spaces from being blocked and poultry from being sold illegally.
Vendors who are not being allowed to sell today at this market, which is always held on Sundays, have complained that they should be allowed to sell, since they have come from different cities.
They are standing in front of the Kosovo Police as a sign of protest. /KP
