Iranian officials say Tehran "has no plans to participate for now" in the next round of negotiations with the US, according to Iran's state news channel, the BBC reported.
The channel quotes officials as saying that "the continuation of the so-called naval blockade, ceasefire violations and threatening American rhetoric" have slowed progress in the talks.
This is consistent with what other Iranian media outlets have reported today.
But so far, no named Iranian official has confirmed or denied whether Iran will join a new round of talks, even though hours have passed since Trump announced that a US delegation would soon be in Pakistan.
This doesn't necessarily mean that Iran won't participate. We'll bring you more updates on this when we have them.
