Edita Tahiri said that Albin Kurti and his party are already aiming to seize the position of President of the country, while she said that they are doing this by dragging out a political agreement.
Tahiri has written about the consequences of populism, while saying that VV should have aimed for an agreement for the opposition for the president.
"The paradox of populism impoverishes the people while enriching the political power - the delay in a political agreement to resolve the presidential election is showing the tendencies that the ruling party aims to take over the president as well, instead of aiming to get out of this poverty and establish a model of cooperation between the opposition and the position on major issues in domestic and foreign policy - at a time when peace is increasingly fragile and insecurity is growing in the world and the region - Kosovo did not even hold a Security Council meeting as if almost nothing was happening around it", she wrote.
Tahiri further estimates that delays in approving the agreement for the Peace Board could be the cause of a new Kosovo-US clash.
"Not to mention that the delay in approving the US-led Peace Board signals Kosovo's inability to support our great ally for a long time - while it is known that small states like Kosovo face global challenges thanks to large allies...", she wrote, among other things.
