In addition to the day, when they can enter and exit freely, from now on, the residents of the Student Center in Pristina will do the same at night.
This is because a decision has been made that dormitories will no longer be locked.
The Student Center says that the decision was made after receiving complaints.
"Some students have complained that after 12:00 when they arrived, they had to wait because some receptionists were late... We have said that, the door will not close anymore."
Students say that the issue of locking doors at night has often caused them problems, making it impossible to sleep in their rooms. Therefore, they emphasize that not installing locks in the buildings where they live is an advantage.
They are also afraid that this could be misused.
However, these changes mostly affect workers, because students must justify their delays.
"The student never dares not come inside, no matter what time he comes," the center declares.
Until now, students have not been able to enter the dormitories after midnight. The guard has kept the key.
