A high school student in Prilep falsely posed as a teacher to obtain a username and password, and then had access to all of the electronic diary data for three years, TV21 reports.

“SPB Prilep has filed a complaint against a high school student in Prilep due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of 'computer forgery'. The suspect, falsely presenting himself as an English teacher from an elementary school in Vinica, created a profile and contacted an employee of the Ministry of Education and Science, who had informed him that conversations with teachers should not take place on social networks and had created an official email address from the Ministry of Education, had given him the passwords of the e-diary as an administrator from her user account and had told him to coordinate all the teachers. In this way, the suspect had access to all the data of all professors at the state level, coordinated them and helped them in managing the electronic diary. In the period from 2022 to November 2025, at the moment when the former acting director informed the suspect that a professor had reported that someone was deleting data from the electronic diary at school, the suspect had deleted all profiles and accounts from the fake profile on social networks, while later the profile was also deleted from the official email of the Ministry of Education and Science," the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
