US President Donald Trump has once again been embroiled in controversy over a sexist insult directed at a Bloomberg journalist during a trip on Air Force One.
As the reporter was asking him about the Jeffrey Epstein case, Trump responded harshly with the words "Shut up, you piggy! Shut up, you fat bastard!", words that have caused immediate reactions in the American media environment.
Even before this event, the president had made controversial statements during a meeting in the Oval Office with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Commenting on the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Trump chose to avoid Riyadh's responsibility, saying: "A lot of people didn't like that gentleman you're talking about. Whether you like him or not, these things happen."
His stance has prompted strong criticism from human rights activists and the journalist community itself.
