Kenan Yildiz has officially renewed his contract with Juventus until 2030, a move that has been welcomed with great enthusiasm by coach Luciano Spalletti.
The Italian coach described this development as "a very important day for the future of Juventus", emphasizing the key role that the 20-year-old already has in the black and white project.
Spalletti, known for his close relationship with his players, has not been stingy with his praise for the Turkish star, whom he has affectionately called "an alien" - in the most positive sense of the word. According to him, Yildiz has become a leader of the team despite his young age, standing out for his technical qualities, one-on-one ability and immediate impact on the game.
"Yildiz is something special. He has the ability to create an advantage at any moment and this gives the team a spark to build something important," said Spalletti, adding that his personality and behavior within the group make him even more valuable.
Yildiz's new contract makes him one of the team's highest-paid players, worth around €6m net per season, three times more than his previous deal. There is also an option to extend for another season, until 2031.
After Juventus' complicated experiences with young star renewals in the past, the deal with Yildiz is seen as a strong signal of confidence and a serious investment in the club's future.
The Bianconeri are already building their project around the Turkish talent, who is expected to be one of Juventus' main faces for the coming years. /Express newspaper
