Around 18 Trepça miners have been trapped in the mine, the head of the union, Ibrahim Jonuzi, announced.
He said that out of the 40 miners, some of them managed to get out on their feet.
"Over 40 miners were trapped, some of them managed to get out on foot, while according to information, around 18 are still inside, those who were in poor health," Jonuzi declared.
The Union President added that the general situation of the miners is good.
"Their general condition is good. We have communication with them, but the more time they spend inside, the worse the situation becomes. They need supplies, food, water, because they are at their last reserves," he told Klankosova.
According to reports, this happened as a result of power problems.
