The Suzanne platform, which also produces the podcast of the same name that airs on T7, has conducted an interview with Peja rapper Singullar, who has returned from New York to Kosovo these weeks.

You may not know Agon Anadolli by name, but you know him by his nickname Singullar. Or Singi. A rapper from Peja, with hits for Pristina, with fresh experience from New York, who is preparing something new in the city.

We had a chat with a special guest—Agon Anadollin AKA Singullar or now Singi, a name that has left its mark on the Albanian hip-hop scene.

In Suzanne Kogja's playlist, we repeatedly hear Singin, for example: half man, half fishpitbull it is also known: in my city . It reminds us of old school hip hop in Kosovo where lyrics and references to real life with real experiences are the basis of art, not turbofolk with references to a life of desire for weddings. Born and raised on the west coast of Kosovo in Peja, Singi left for America for a vacation and stayed there in search of dreams, where he was also influenced by the culture and lifestyle in the Big Apple.
After years in the US, he decided to return to Kosovo and is now bringing another of his passions to the capital—a restaurant in Pristina that is expected to become a new hotspot for food lovers.
Today we did a TenTen interview with him to talk about his trip, his New York experience, his decision to return, and why gastronomy has become part of his new journey. Welcome to our TenTen!

1. Singi, you are from Peja but you have lived in Pristina and have also been to New York every year. What from Kosovo did you leave behind in New York, and what from your experience in New York did you enjoy later in Kosovo?

Hey Suzzie! I went to NYC by chance and without waiting or remembering, I stayed, because that place simply has access to energy. Incomparable. Incredible. Well, now that I'm getting into the food business, at least some of the food experiences, restaurants, gastronomic atmosphere of New York were a plus for me in Kosovo.

2. Nas, The Notorious BIG and Wu-Tang Clan are EAST USA but you were born in WEST KOSOVA. When you were growing up as a kid, were you influenced by East or West in rap?

Since the beginning of music, even though I was born in the West, as you say, I'm a big fan of East Coast Rap, I feel it more than West.. But for the heart and soul.

3. If you could choose one artist, dead or alive, to collaborate on something with, who would it be and why?

Very simple: Notorious BIG

4. You have a great restaurant. What is the strangest food combination you like? I like smoki with yogurt, hahahha

HAHA! When I saw this question I was a little relieved because I thought that I only eat smoki and chips with yogurt. This combination is not strange. Classic urban taste in my opinion. 🙂
