A dangerous incident occurred today at around 12:00 in the "Kodra e Trimave" neighborhood in Pristina, where gunfire was reported during a police operation.
According to a statement from the Kosovo Police, officers from the Enforcement Unit attempted to stop a 29-year-old man identified as LK (born in 1996), who was inside a car on "Fahri Fazliu" street.
The suspect refused to comply with police orders and attempted to leave the scene, seriously endangering the lives of police officers.
In an attempt to stop him, one of the officers used his official weapon.
Despite efforts, the suspect managed to escape and during his escape caused a traffic accident that resulted in injuries and material damage.
"The competent institutions have been notified of the case and investigations are ongoing," the police statement said.
