A 40-year-old man internationally wanted for drug trafficking and participation in a criminal organization has been arrested in Shkodra.
The Prosecutor's Office of Rimini, Italy, issued an arrest warrant for Endrit Feraru alias Endrit Cufi in February of this year.
The 40-year-old is expected to be extradited to the neighboring country.

A citizen declared internationally wanted for participation in a criminal organization for drug trafficking is arrested in Shkodra and placed in handcuffs for extradition to Italy.
The structures of the Special Operations Force Directorate at the Criminal Police Department, based on information obtained through operational means, located, captured and arrested citizen EF alias EC, 40 years old, resident of Shkodra.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome, after the Rimini Prosecutor's Office, Italy, issued an arrest warrant against him in February 2025 for participation in a criminal organization for drug trafficking. The Italian Penal Code provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison for this criminal offense.
In cooperation with Italian authorities, legal procedures for the extradition of this citizen are ongoing.
