Shkëndija e Tetovo has reacted harshly after the developments in the 22nd round of the First Football League of North Macedonia, accusing the referees of scandalous decisions and warning that it may reconsider investments in the club if the situation continues.
The Tetovo club emphasizes that for a long time it has chosen to remain silent, in the hope that the responsible institutions will reflect and take measures to guarantee justice in the championship.
However, according to them, what happened in the last matches – including the Shkëndija – Brera and Sileks – Vardar matches – constitutes the "final frontier".
According to Shkëndija, the referees' decisions, which, according to the club, have consistently favored Vardar, are severely damaging the integrity of the competition and creating a negative perception of the way the championship is administered by the Football Federation of North Macedonia.
The club emphasizes that the silence so far was done in the hope of reflection, but now considers that this has been interpreted as weakness.
In response, Shkëndija also emphasizes that the investments in the club are private and the result of work and sacrifice to build a serious club that worthily represents the city and the country in international competitions.
The people of Tetovar warn that if, as they call it, the unequal access and scandalous referrals continue, they will be forced to seriously question the continuation of investments in this environment.
At the same time, the club announces that it will also inform international institutions, including UEFA, about developments in the championship.
