The Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate (IQMT) has announced that it has seized several products that were assessed to pose a potential risk to the health and safety of consumers.
Through a press release announcing the intensification of market surveillance activities aimed at ensuring product safety and consumer protection, the Inspectorate announced that the focus was on machinery products, personal protective equipment, children's toys and other equipment that may pose a risk.
Due to the failure to present the relevant technical documentation and exceeding the expiration date, the seized products are 13 drilling machines, five angle grinders, 426 discs for cutting iron and concrete, 251 high-visibility vests, 114 helmets, 176 welding masks, 11 paints and 931 children's toys.
