A traffic accident occurred on Wednesday in the village of Bërshanc in Suhareka, involving a car and a minor cyclist.
As a result of the accident, a nine-year-old child suffered serious injuries and was urgently sent for treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCK).
His health condition is reported to be serious, and he is currently in Intensive Care.
Regarding the case, the director of Emergency, Naser Syla, has provided details about the minor's condition.
"The child born in 2017 is in serious condition, with polytrauma. After examinations conducted at the Emergency Center, he was taken to the operating room by the Neurosurgery and Anesthesia care teams. After the surgical intervention, he was transferred to Intensive Care for further treatment," Syla stated.
Authorities are expected to provide additional information regarding the circumstances of the accident.
