Police have announced that a member of the Serbian police has been arrested at the border crossing in Jarinje.
51 cartridges, 9,900 euros, and 26,000 Serbian dinars were found and confiscated in his car.
He has been taken into custody.
"IMPORT, EXPORT, SUPPLY, TRANSPORT, PRODUCTION, EXCHANGE, INTERMEDIATION OR UNAUTHORIZED SALE OF WEAPONS OR EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS - BCP Jarinje / 01.11.2025 – 10:02. At the border crossing at the entrance, a Kosovar male suspect, a member of the Serbian police, was arrested because 51 cartridges, 9.900 euros in cash and 26.000 Serbian dinars were found and confiscated in the vehicle with Belgrade license plates that he was driving during the search in the trunk. Personal documents such as the identification card along with the Serbian police badge, the Serbian police union card, the Serbian and Kosovo ID card, the Serbian passport, a pair of uniform shoulder straps, a pair of gloves and a USB were seized from the suspect. By decision of the prosecutor, the suspect was taken into custody. The case is being investigated."
