The Secretary of the European Federation of Journalists has described as ridiculous the warning by Osmani's office of legal action against German journalist Michael Martens.
Ricardo Gutierrez has said that journalists have the right to comment on Osmani's desire to be re-elected as president and also on her ties to "Trumpism."
"Kosovo: threats of legal action by the Kosovo presidency against German journalist Michael Martens (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, FAZ) are as shameful as they are ridiculous. A journalist has the right to comment on Vjosa Osmani's desire to run for another term as president. And on her ties to Trumpism," he wrote.
