Scarlett Johansson once again showed why she is considered an icon of style and class, appearing stunning at the premiere of the new film "The Phoenician Scheme" at Jazz at Lincoln Center, in Manhattan's Columbus Circle, on Wednesday night.
✨ Elegance on the red carpet
The 40-year-old actress stunned those present in a strapless coral dress from Saint Laurent, which emphasized her elegant lines.
Stylist Kate Young selected a lariat necklace and rings from Taffin Jewelry to complete the look.
Hairstylist David von Cannon left her hair in loose, light waves – a change from her usual updo.
Meanwhile, makeup artist Jian Qiao Lu accentuated Scarlett's thick eyebrows and natural lips, opting for minimalist makeup that highlighted her natural beauty.
🎬 Role in “The Phoenician Scheme”
Johansson plays a small but interesting role as a mysterious character named "Cousin," an enigmatic figure in the spy-themed black comedy.
The film will first be released in select theaters in the US this Friday, before hitting wide release in the US and UK on June 6.
🎥 In the company of big names
Scarlett posed on the red carpet alongside director Wes Anderson and other actors:
Bryan Cranston, F. Murray Abraham, Hope Davis, Michael Cera, Benicio del Toro, Tom Hanks, Scott Shepherd, Steve Park, and Mia Threapleton.
In an interview with Extra, Johansson said:
“It was fantastic – I got involved for a short time, reconnected with old friends, met new faces, and just got immersed in Wes’s world.”
"These guys were there for months working – Michael, Benicio, Mia – and I came, I was happy and I said: 'Okay, see you later!'" /GazetaExpress/
