US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he visited the Missionaries of Charity to honor the legacy of Mother Teresa, whom he described as a figure who left an extraordinary legacy of compassion and service to people in need.
"I felt honored to visit the Missionaries of Charity to pay homage to its legacy and to see the living example of the Catholic faith in action," Rubio wrote, praising the humanitarian work that continues to be carried out in the spirit of Mother Teresa.
