Kosovo national team center back Amir Rrahmani is close to extending his contract with Napoli.
Rrahmani is having an up-and-down season with Napoli, due to injuries, but the Neapolitan club has decided to extend his contract.
According to what "Tuttosport" reports, the Kosovo captain has been offered a new contract by Napoli, with a salary increase.
The report continues by stating that Napoli have offered Rrahmani the opportunity to extend his contract until 2028, with the option of extending for another season.
According to the media outlet in question, he is expected to earn around 3.8 million euros per season.
Currently, according to "Capology", Rrahmani earns 3.2 million euros per season.
Amir Rrahmani was injured last night in the match against Roma, after conceding a penalty on Wesley. The match ended 2-2, as Rrahmani left the game in the 70th minute.
This is Rrahman's third injury this season, with the first one he suffered in September, during Kosovo's match with Switzerland.
He returned in October, but then was injured again in January, missing four games.
At the moment, after last night's injury, there is still no exact date for his return, but unofficially it is said that it will be a long injury.
Rrahmani is in his sixth season with Napoli.
