A Kosovo citizen wanted on an international warrant was extradited from Germany to Kosovo on April 20, 2026, the Kosovo Police announced.
According to authorities, the suspect was arrested by German authorities following a request through INTERPOL, and is suspected of the criminal offense of "robbery", for which he had evaded justice.
The extradition was carried out in cooperation between Kosovo and German institutions, in accordance with applicable laws. The Kosovo Police has emphasized that it will continue international coordination for the exchange of information and the pursuit of wanted persons, with the aim of preventing and combating criminal activities at home and abroad.

The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, on April 20, 2026, extradited the Kosovo citizen from Germany to Kosovo.
The suspect was arrested by German authorities, as he was wanted through INTERPOL with an international warrant, issued by Kosovo justice institutions, for the criminal offense of 'robbery' and that he had evaded justice.
The extradition was carried out based on the laws in force and thanks to close cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Germany.
The Directorate for International Police Cooperation will continue to exchange information with local institutions, states and international organizations, with the aim of preventing, investigating and detecting criminal activities related to the investigation of perpetrators of criminal offenses, as well as other activities in the tracking, capture and arrest of persons and criminal groups operating within and outside the country.
