Internationally renowned Albanian singer, Rita Ora, has congratulated Kosovar director Blerta Basholli for her new film "Dua", which premiered at "Critics Week", a parallel section of the Cannes International Film Festival.
"Dua", directed and written by Basholli, is a Kosovar production that deals with the experiences, memories and sensitivities of a generation that grew up during the '90s in Kosovo.
Through a post on Instagram, Rita Ora expressed the pride and emotion that the film has aroused in her, appreciating the way it brings to the screen an important period for many Albanians.

"Capturing and expressing the way we grew up in the '90s is a story that only we women can tell in our own way. I am so proud of this moment. As a girl who grew up in the '90s, that period will forever remain in my memories," Ora wrote.
The film "Dua" competes as a feature film and represents another important step for Kosovar cinematography in the international arena.
Blerta Basholli is known for the success of the film "Zgjoi", which won three major awards at the Sundance Festival and became one of the most internationally acclaimed Albanian productions. /GazetaExpress/
