Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy says any military ship approaching the Strait of Hormuz will be considered violating the ceasefire and will be "dealt with severely", the BBC reported, Gazeta Express reports.

In a statement published by Iranian media by the IRGC Public Relations, citing the Naval Forces, it is added that "contrary to the false claims of some enemy officials," the Strait of Hormuz is "open to the innocent passage of non-military vessels under intelligent control and management in accordance with specific regulations" of Iran.

The statement did not name any "enemy" "officials," but US President Donald Trump had said the US Navy would "block any and all ships" attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz.
