Anton Dauti has shared the news that after 27 years, the remains of Sinan Fadil Dauti, who was killed by Serbian forces on April 12, 1999 in Prekaz, have been found.
Dauti indicated that he was seriously injured that day and did not survive his injuries.
The funeral will take place on April 18, 2026, at 13:30 PM, in the Upper Prekaz, Bregaj neighborhood cemetery.

With deep pain and unquenchable longing, we announce that after 27 years of waiting, the mortal remains of our uncle's son, Sinan Fadil Dauti, who was killed by barbaric Serbian criminal forces on April 12, 1999 in Prekaz, in the Bregaj neighborhood, have been found.
He was seriously injured on that fateful day and was taken to the hospital in Mitrovica for treatment, where he later died. For many years, his body was not returned to us, leaving an open wound in our hearts. After a long and painful wait, he was found in the Suhadoll cemetery in Mitrovica.
His funeral will take place on 18.04.2026, Saturday at 13:30, in Upper Prekaz, in the Bregaj neighborhood cemetery.
