Despite their decline over the last two seasons, which threatens to end without a trophy, Real Madrid's team - a winning machine until 2024 - continues to have $184 million more market value than Barcelona, according to specialist website "Transfermarkt".
Real Madrid's team is valued at $1.45 billion, while Barcelona stands at $1.26 billion. However, Barca's players have seen a huge increase recently.
Lamine Yamal, currently injured, is valued at $216 million.
Pedri is worth $162 million, while even players who were almost unknown a few years ago, like Fermín López, are now valued at $108 million.
Behind them comes a group of players who can increase this figure even further.
Joan García is valued at $43 million and Pau Cubarsí, still only 19 years old, has a market value of $86 million.
Stars like Raphinha ($86 million), Jules Koundé ($70 million), Dani Olmo ($65 million) and Frenkie de Jong ($49 million) are already at their peak or have started to decline, while others like Gavi ($32 million) are close to a new explosion.
Until the next Transfermarkt update, Real Madrid continues to maintain the advantage thanks to its two main stars: Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior, valued at $216 and $162 million respectively.
Also very high on the list are Jude Bellingham with $151 million, Federico Valverde with $130 million and Arda Güler with $97 million.
Aurélien Tchouaméni is valued at $81 million, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is valued at $70 million.
Paradoxically, the upcoming update could negatively impact this season's signings, many of whom came in young and with great potential. Dean Huijsen ($70 million), Álvaro Carreras ($65 million) and Franco Mastantuono ($49 million) have failed to live up to the expectations they created.
However, Real Madrid continues to be $184 million ahead of Barcelona as they await new World Cup-related updates.
Only four players at Barcelona are over 30 years old – Wojciech Szczęsny, Andreas Christensen, João Cancelo and Robert Lewandowski.
Real Madrid don't have many players of this age either: just Thibaut Courtois, Antonio Rüdiger, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy. Both clubs have young squads that are expected to continue to improve./Express newspaper/
