The Brazilian doubled the home team's lead in the 69th minute, converting from the penalty spot.
Just four minutes later, Mikautadze managed to narrow the score with a beautiful goal.
But, in the 77th minute, Mourinho received a second yellow card, leaving Villarreal with one less player and no hope of a comeback.
In the 81st minute, Kylian Mbappe managed to put himself on the scorers' list for the final epilogue.
With this triumph, Real Madrid temporarily takes the lead in the standings with 21 points, two more than Barcelona, who play tomorrow.
