The MP of the VLEN coalition, Bekim Qoku, participated in a joint iftar with representatives of intellectual, cultural, media life as well as activists of the Vetëvendosje! Movement in North Macedonia.
In a public post, Qoku emphasized that the month of Ramadan is a period of reflection and rapprochement between people, wishing that fasting be easy and accepted for all believers.
"Tonight I participated in a joint iftar with representatives from intellectual, cultural, media life and activists of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement in Macedonia. The month of Ramadan is a time of reflection and rapprochement between people. I wish that fasting will be easy and accepted for all believers," he wrote.
According to Qoku, fasting is not only giving up food, but also luxury, pride and excess, reminding us of the importance of equality and solidarity in society.
