The Kosovo Agency of Statistics has published the Agricultural Input Price Index for the fourth quarter (Q4) 2025.
From ASK it is SAYING that the overall input index in agriculture increased in Q4 2025, compared to Q4 2024
This publication is based on agricultural input prices collected in Kosovo. Price collection was carried out in agricultural pharmacies, veterinary pharmacies, companies, markets and other places where agricultural input prices are available.
In Q4 2025, the Input1 Index increased by 4,3%, compared to the same period in 2024. Whereas, the Input 2 Index increased by 3,7%, compared to the same period in 2024.
The total input index (Input 1 + Input 2) increased by 4,0%, compared to the same period in 2024.
The products that form the basis for the Input Price Index are divided into two main groups: Goods and services actually consumed in agriculture (Input 1) and Goods and services that contribute to investment in agriculture (Input 2).
Within the group of Goods and services actually consumed in agriculture, prices are collected according to the following groups: seeds and planting material, energy; oils, fertilizers and soil improvers, plant protection products and pesticides, veterinary expenses, animal feed, maintenance of materials, maintenance of buildings, as well as other goods and services.
Regarding goods and services contributing to agricultural investment, prices are collected for materials (machinery and other equipment), buildings and others (non-residential farm buildings, works other than land improvement).
