The President's Chief of Staff, Learta Hollaj, spoke about the current situation regarding the holding of new elections and the statements of President Vjosa Osmani, emphasizing that there is nothing personal in this process.
"I have nothing to add to the president's statements, there will be a moment when Osmani will publicly address her about every detail. This has nothing to do with a personal battle. We are not the ones who have prevented the election of the new president," Hollaj said on RTV21's "Click".
She added that the question that needs to be asked is what Osman gains from the new elections. According to the Presidency, the answer is clear: "He really gains nothing."
The Presidency's statement underlines that the process is institutional and that any action by the president will be in accordance with the Constitution and the public interest, excluding any interpretation of personal battles.
