Former Constitutional Court judge Kadri Kryeziu has criticized the manner of political communication between parties in Kosovo, at a time when the country is facing a crisis over the election of the president.
On FIVE on TV Dukagjini, Kryeziu said that inter-institutional and political communication has been at a very low level.
"Communication has not been at the level of state and national, institutional awareness. Communication has been of the lowest level, and this can also be accepted as such. But, the level of communication has been low. Not taking into account the general interests of the state...", said Kryeziu.
Commenting on the current political situation and the failure to reach an agreement on the president, Kryeziu stressed that the main responsibility falls on the most powerful political party in the country, in this case Prime Minister Albin Kurti's Vetevendosje.
"In principle, the fault is always on the one who is more powerful. More powerful in parliament. More powerful with more deputies and votes. Then the others are not irresponsible either. But the main responsibility lies with the Prime Minister (Albin Kurti) and Vetëvendosje. They should have let go, because don't let go of Albanians, you can't, you have to let go of Albanians. You only have to let go of the enemy. They should have surpassed them...
"He had to talk to a political subject. The manner of the guest left something to be desired. Because there are some meetings where they go to get their ears pierced so as not to get along. Every meeting has been about getting them to get along," Kryeziu added.
We recall that efforts to reach an agreement on the election of the president have failed, as the constitutional deadline approaches, increasing the possibility that the country will go to new elections if a political solution is not reached.
