A person with the initials MS, who was reported missing in Leposaviq last month, has been found in the Deçan area.
Police announced that he was found by patrol units in Decani.
"On 28.04.2026, at the Police Station in Leposavic, the disappearance of a male person with the initials MS (1990) was reported by his family. According to the statements of the family, the same person had had psychological problems from time to time. According to their information, at the time of last contact he had been in Serbia and had stated that he would return to Kosovo," the Police announced.
"The police have taken immediate investigative action, notifying all police stations and border crossings. From the rapid police actions, it was determined that the person had entered Kosovo on 28.04.2026. On the same day, the same person had stayed at the Deçan Monastery and then left in an unknown direction," the announcement states.
Police say his discovery was made in coordination with other police stations.
"In coordination with other police stations and operational actions in the field, on 17.05.2026 at around 10:00, the Police Station in Deçan received information that the person MS was found in the Deçan area by police patrol units."
"The family has been notified about the case, and according to initial information, his condition is currently stable."
