Six people were arrested during a police operation conducted during the night between March 13 and 14 in the Karposh area of Skopje, where suspected narcotic substances were also seized.
According to the police announcement, the operation was carried out by the Unit for Combating Illicit Trafficking at the Skopje Police Station, near a sports center in this area. During the police search, identities were verified and a total of 33 people were searched.
As part of the operation, six people were deprived of their liberty: LP (42), SN (45), LA (43) and IC (37) from Skopje, MS (33) from Negotino and EL (21) from the Republic of Albania.
During the search, police found and seized various narcotic substances, including a white powdery material, a lumpy substance, marijuana, and another powdery material.
Authorities announce that after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against the persons involved.
