Recent reports suggest that SL Benfica coach Mourinho is Pérez's preferred candidate to take over the team.
According to media outlets such as Esdiario and journalist Sergio Valentín, the parties have also held a video call to more specifically discuss the possibility of Mourinho's return.
The report adds that the meeting was also attended by renowned agent Jorge Mendes, who had an observer role during the talks.
