The Social Democratic Party (PSD) has accused the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) of lacking a clear political stance after the elections, while an action by the leader of this party, Dardan Molliqaj, in front of the LDK offices, was accompanied by tensions and verbal clashes with former LDK MP, Paris Guri.
Guri asked PSD to hold such actions in front of the ruling party's offices and accused PSD of carrying out actions against opposition parties under the directive of Vetëvendosje.
Following the tensions, PSD leader Dardan Molliqaj said that the embarrassment of opposition parties, and in particular LDK, is unbearable.
"The embarrassment of the opposition parties, especially the LDK, is unbearable. People who buy votes in the diaspora, people who buy likes, people who go to Albin Kurti, people who go to Albin Kurti in every meeting with me," he said.
Molliqaj said that PSD is seeking a clear answer from LDK about its position after the elections.
"The Social Democratic Party has said nothing more than it has answered our vital question: What will the Democratic League do after the elections? Are they for a government with Kurti, are they for a government without Kurti, are they for a president with Kurti, are they for a president without Kurti? The opposition's deception cannot go any further. Beg for votes for an anti-Kurt government and go negotiate with Kurti. These are those who, who think that the people must be manipulated, that the people can be lied to. These think that the people do not understand the truth. For this reason, the people have consistently understood them. The embarrassment you saw today in Paris is the embarrassment of Lumir and Vjosa, because it has been completely understood that this was a scheme of deception," he said.
He said that the elections were caused by the political calculations of the LDK.
"The country went to the elections because the Democratic League of Kosovo believed that by taking Vjosa along with Lumir and removing Kujtim and Hikmet and the others, Abdullah, the LDK would grow. Now that they have realized that this is not happening, they have turned their focus to the Social Democratic Party. Our invitation is clear. Let them tell us what they want us to do after the elections. Our offer is clear, you heard it before, let them sign it publicly. Let them not come and disrupt our activities. We have never disrupted the activities of the LDK, or the PDK, or the AAK. Never! We have held protest actions, we have held political activities. These are welcome since they have, they are interested, to our office, publicly, on shows to talk about everything that we need to talk about," he said.
Molliqaj reiterated the call for the LDK to make a public commitment to its political stances after the elections.
"Therefore, my invitation is like the PDK's, let them publicly pledge that they will keep their word, let them tell the people what they are for and then we will be fine. Otherwise, everything else is manipulation," he said. /Ekonomiaonline
