The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, hosted representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for a meeting.
As stated in the announcement by the Prime Minister's Office, this meeting discussed deepening cooperation between the Government of Kosovo and the EBRD, with a particular focus on advancing infrastructure projects and implementing the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024, which foresees an investment portfolio of up to 400 million euros by 2027.
"Priority projects in the areas of road infrastructure, wastewater, water system, energy efficiency and public transport were also discussed, as well as opportunities for signing new financing agreements during 2026–2027. Prime Minister Kurti thanked the EBRD for its continued support to Kosovo and stressed the importance of partnership with this institution for the implementation of strategic projects that improve infrastructure and services for citizens. For their part, the EBRD representatives reaffirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation with Kosovo institutions in the implementation of development projects and in support of economic reforms," the OPM statement said. /Gazeta Express
