President Vjosa Osmani met today with the Prime Minister of Eswatini, Russell Mmiso Dlamini, during the World Governance Summit where she is participating.
Osmani thanked Dlamini for the "early recognition" of Kosovo's independence.
Regarding this country, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić claimed three years ago that he had withdrawn recognition of Kosovo's independence, listing it along with eight other countries.
But, Osmani said that he has received willingness from the leader of this country to advance relations between the two countries.
"I expressed the gratitude of the people of Kosovo for the early recognition of independence by Eswatini, as well as the readiness to advance towards concluding agreements in concrete areas of mutual interest. We also discussed closer coordination in multilateral forums. Kosovo remains committed to partnerships built on respect and a shared vision for peace and development."
