President Vjosa Osmani has joined citizens in the march to demand justice for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Osmani entered the midst of the protesters, greeting PDK leader Bedri Hamza and Endrit Thaçi, the deputy of former president Hashim Thaçi.
The President has described the trial of former KLA leaders in The Hague as unfair.
Referring to the trial of former KLA leaders at the Special Court in The Hague, Osmani spoke today at the solemn session of the Parliament about "attempts to equate our liberation war with the crimes of the genocidal regime of Serbia."
Osmani said that the KLA is the "strongest pillar" of the state and "cannot be undone by any attempt to rewrite or distort history."
