PDK MP Ganimete Musliu has said that the clashes between President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti show that the current government is more concerned with the struggle for influence than with the real problems of citizens.
Musliu said that Kosovo does not need political egos at the top of the state, but needs leadership that unites.
"Today, Kosovo is facing a major political paradox. Instead of the highest state institutions being an example of unity, responsibility and a guarantor of constitutional order, they have become an arena of political clashes and resentment. The clashes between Vjosa Osmani and Albin Kurti are clearly showing that the current government is more concerned with the struggle for influence than with the real problems of citizens. Kosovo does not need political egos at the top of the state. Kosovo needs leadership that unites, that respects institutions and that works for the citizen. The state is no one's property. Leading the state is a responsibility, whoever does not understand this does not deserve to lead it," she wrote.
