The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received today in a meeting the Head of the European Union Office, Aivo Orav.
After the meeting, both spoke to the media, where Orav congratulated Kurti on the formation of the new government. The Head of the EU Office stressed that it is important that Kosovo now has a stable government. According to him, last year the limits of the Kosovo Constitution were tested and time was spent on the formation of the government.
“We all know that last year the limits of the Constitution were tested and time was spent, but I am sure that now it is possible to move forward in the right direction also in the domestic aspect. From the EU side, it is important to finally have a partner – a stable government – and we from our side are ready to move forward. We are glad that the agreements related to the Growth Plan were adopted very quickly in Parliament and we hope that we will be able to open a new chapter on the issue of enlargement,” said Orav.
