"Jane" texted Diddy that she no longer wanted such a relationship, saying: "I'm not an animal, I'm not a porn actress."
Prosecutor Christy Slavik told the jury that if the court finds just one instance where Diddy used force, deception or threat to commit sex trafficking, then he should be found guilty.
Slavik explained that they are not claiming that all of Diddy's sexual relationships with former partners Cassie Ventura and "Jane" are sex trafficking, but if just one of them involved the use of violence or manipulation, that is enough for conviction.
Regarding "Jane", the prosecutor mentioned three cases:
1. September 2023 - Diddy deceived "Jane" by promising her a weekend of romantic walks and dinners in New York, but in fact arranged for her to have sex with escorts without her knowledge.
2.October 2023 - "Jane" texted Diddy that she no longer wanted such relationships, saying: "I'm not an animal, I'm not a porn actress." But a few days later, she had relationships with two escorts and was forced to have a third.
3.June 2024 – After a violent argument at their Los Angeles home, Diddy used the threat of withholding rent to force "Jane" to have sex with an escort, whom he invited through her phone.
The prosecutor emphasized that this evidence shows Diddy's involvement in sex trafficking through force and manipulation.
