Kosovo Police have cracked down on a suspected drug trafficking network, seizing over one kilogram of suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance in an action coordinated with the Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj.
The operation was carried out after providing operational information about a suspicious shipment through the post, in which case investigative and operational actions were undertaken in cooperation with Kosovo Customs.
During the implementation of the tactical plan, at around 12:20, on the Pristina-Prizren road, in Llapushnik, a vehicle with local license plates was stopped, where the package with the suspected substance was found.
A person was arrested at the scene and, by decision of the prosecutor in charge, was detained for 48 hours, while drugs and a mobile phone were seized as material evidence. /Gazeta Express

The Kosovo Police, namely the competent anti-drug units, in close cooperation with the Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj, have successfully carried out a police operation in the context of combating narcotics trafficking.
After receiving information through the operational channel of the Ferizaj DHTN, regarding a suspicious shipment through the post, coordinated investigative and operational actions were undertaken, in cooperation with Kosovo Customs and relevant police units.
During the implementation of the tactical plan, at around 12:20, on the Pristina-Prizren road, in Llapushnik, a vehicle with local license plates was stopped for inspection, where during the inspection a package containing a suspected narcotic substance of the type marijuana was found.
Regarding the case, a suspect was arrested at the scene, who was detained for 48 hours by decision of the prosecutor in charge.
Over 1 kilogram of suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance, as well as a mobile phone, were seized as material evidence.
