Just a few minutes ago it was announced that Joan Laporta has been re-elected as president of Barcelona until 2031.
There had been a lot of tension around Camp Nou for weeks, as the campaign between him and Víctor Font was very fierce, with two completely different models for managing the club.
In the second official result, with 50% of the votes counted, Laporta received 69% of the votes, while Font received 28%.
Fabrizio Romano also celebrated Laporta's victory, on his profile on the "X" platform.

Without a doubt, the great sporting turnaround that Barça has experienced since the arrival of Hansi Flick greatly influenced the members' decision.
After several disappointing seasons, Barcelona has returned as a protagonist in all competitions.
In addition to winning the La Liga title last season, the promotion of many young players from the academy to the first team also helped Laporta secure victory.
No doubt, it will be a long night of celebrations for Laporta and his team, before they get back to work tomorrow to lead Barcelona to winning everything this season. /Express newspaper/
