Acting President, Albulena Haxhiu, at the meeting of the Vetëvendosje General Council after the announcement of Albin Kurti as Vetëvendosje's candidate for prime minister.
Haxhiu read a speech in which he had great words for Kurti and said that he proposes him not only for the job, but "also for the man he has always been."

Albin Kurti is upright in his life, strict in his principles and unblackmailable in politics. He has the nobility of a man who does not forget where he comes from. The stoicism of one who does not break under pressure and the clarity of a leader who knows where the country must go. Albin Kurti's path should remind us of Noli's marathon runner, the man of the long journey who does not stop before fatigue because the news of victory is not kept to himself, but is taken to the people", said Haxhiu.
