Shocking news has come from the province of Zamora, where renowned Portuguese striker Diogo Jota and his brother lost their lives in a fatal accident late last night.
The accident site is located in the middle of a busy dual carriageway, on a grassy area that divides the road into two directions. The ground there has been scorched and the wreckage of the accident is visible at the scene, testifying to the scale of the tragedy.
According to correspondent Cristina García Casado's reporting from Zamora, the bodies of Jota and his brother have already been moved and their families are preparing for official identification.
