The New York Senate has honored Kosovo by adopting a Resolution commemorating the 18th anniversary of its declaration of independence.
Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton was once again among the most deserving for such an action.
She expressed her pleasure in welcoming the people of Kosovo to the Capitol of this American state, and shared her pride in celebrating Kosovo culture and tradition with them.

"I am honored to once again promote this resolution and welcome the people of Kosovo to our Capitol to celebrate their independence," the senator declared.
"I am proud to represent such a strong Kosovar community here at SD23 and remain committed to celebrating their culture and traditions alongside them."
